MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR ETERNITY - M.A.D.E. is a church-wide challenge in 2010 for God’s people at KCC to Make A Difference for Eternity. Get involved at KCC and make a difference in 2010.

WE HAVE TWO SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES - Contemporary Worship 9:10 a.m., with concurrent Bible classes for all ages beginning at 9:30 a.m.; and Traditional Worship at 10:30 a.m. with concurrent Bible classes for all ages.

The 2ND COMING OF CHRIST - 2 Peter 3:1-18 - Sermon for Sunday morning, July 25 at 9:10 and 10:30 a.m. Presented by Randy Childress, Senior Minister. The sermon may be heard online Monday, and ordered on DVD and CD at the Welcome Center.

SUNDAY EVENING - KCC Church Family Day- We have reserved Shelter #1 at Woodstock Park. Come out for a great time of competitive sports, fellowship, food, camp-style worship and fun for the community at KCC. The activities will be from 3:00 P.M.-Sunset.

WEDNESDAY EVENING - Adult Bible Study "The Prayer of Jabez", Elective Courses, Men’s & Women’s Groups, Student and Children's classes

New Women’s Study: ANOINTED TRANSFORMED REDEEMED A STUDY OF DAVID by Priscilla Shirer ~ Beth Moore ~ Kay Arthur. Pick up an information sheet about this study or register at the Welcome Center. Cost: $20.00 includes workbook.

Backpacks for Kids – Sign-up at the Welcome Center to sponsor a child for our “Backpacks for Kids” program. Information about how to sponsor a child and supplies needed are located at the Welcome Center. Thank you.

Living Safely in a Dangerous World sponsored by M4C - Women’s Class – Sunday, August 29^th from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. in the Fellowship Center. This class is free and childcare is provided. (Please pre-register at the Welcome Center.)

All event/elective registrations are now taking place at the Welcome Center in the Worship Center Lobby. You can also purchase DVDs/CDs of this morning’s message there.

BABY HATS are needed at Sentara Leigh Memorial for their newborn babies. They need approximately 125 each month. All ladies of KCC are invited to a Bridal Shower for Vicki Cox on Thursday, August 5th, 7:00 p.m. Vicki is registered at Target and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Second Annual Selby Tedder Men's Golf Retreat will be held on October 8-9, 2010 (Fri-Sat). Location to be determined soon. See Steve Ely or Terry Sellers if you have questions. Please plan now to attend.

HOLY LANDS TOUR. Visit the display in the foyer and make plans to join Randy, Sandi and other KCC members for the trip of a lifetime. Once you’ve walked where Jesus walked, you will never be the same. Your Bible will come alive…your faith will be strengthened.

STUDENT MINISTRIES: For more information on any of these Student Ministry Events at KCC, visit the Youth Lobby across from the “Fresh Brewed Life” Coffee Area.

Please pray for our Puerto Rico Team as we serve a Puerto Rican Christian school. While here we will be helping the school get ready for the next school year. We will also be serving food and having a clothing giveaway for the local homeless.

Middle School Mission Trip: The middle school mission trip to Roanoke VA is going to be August 9-13. We will be helping local missions in the area including feeding the homeless and working at clothing shelters. The cost is $50 for the week. Details and sign ups are in the youth lobby.

Children’s Church Character Program: JULY is GOODNESS month.

Bowling Fun-Tuesday, August 3 10:30 AM -1:30 PM Sign up at the Children's Board

Wednesday Nights: K-5^th Grades – 7:00-8:00 P.M. in the Children’s Center. Come out and share in a great lesson and fun crafts every Wednesday night! It is a fun time!

We are looking for more help in the Children’s Dept: If you are available to meet and serve in the Children’s Center once a month, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call the church office at 490-3925. We need nursery workers, preschool and elementary workers, sound techs, Welcome Center volunteers and lifeguards. It’s a fun-filled experience, so jump in and get involved.
