Family Life

Needed: older married couples to help younger married couples, couples eager to learn and grow. Marriage Course Facilitators and Parenting Course Facilitators

Finance

Sets up church budget, short-term and long-term planning
Needed: typically assigned to deacons, with an elder as the overseer, but looking for experienced volunteers

First Impression Welcome Ministry

To provide a great first impression for those visiting our church
Needed: door greeters, new ideas, creative ways to make people feel welcome

Hands-In-Service

To provide ASL sign language for the morning worship service
Needed: Interpreters to volunteer on a rotation

Hospital Visitation

To make visits to the surrounding hospitals
Needed: a willing heart and a desire to help and pray with people who are hurting

Needed: volunteers to join this team to decide missionary support around the world. Volunteers to plan, coordinate and initiate short term missions trips for adults

Moms4Christ

A support group to encourage mothers to find the joy in the blessing of being a mom.Open to moms with children of all ages, including adult children.

Multi-Media

Mission: To faciitate the outreach and in-reach of the Kempsville Church of Christ using technology.
Needed: volunteers with a knowledge of computer systems, servers, multimedia productions, editing, video recording, website design, etc.

Prayer

To provide various avenues for KCC to be a praying church, enabled by the Holy Spirit, to pray for the church, missionaries, one another, the unsaved, our nation, and those around the world.
Needed: volunteers to make prayer shawls, prayer warriors, creative strategies for praying opportunities, event planners, card writers, those willing to be a part of an intercessory prayer team

Puppets

Senior Saints

To serve the seniors of KCC wholeheartedly by providing love, activities, fellowship, service projects, and having plenty of hugs and smiles to go around; striving to meet their needs and letting them know we love and cherish them.

Tidewater Detention Home

To present the Word in a relevant way to troubled teens
Needed: Speakers who can challenge adolescents in Tidewater Detention Home, volunteers to organize snacks

Worship

To offer a quality worship experience during the morning worship service
