We’re so glad the Lord brought you our way on your visit to KCC. I hope during your time here, that you found a church full of warm, friendly people.

In January I will celebrate my 25th year at Kempsville. This church has been very good to me and my family as we’ve strived to serve the Lord together. However, in spite of all those years, I’m as excited about ministry here at Kempsville as the first day I came!

One of the things I’ve enjoyed over the years is that God has brought many new people to our fellowship. Each one bringing his/her own unique talents and gifts contributing to the whole body of Christ.

I don’t believe you came by accident or by coincidence, but by the providence of God. There may be something He wants you to do. In the meantime, please continue attending Kempsville Church of Christ.
It usually takes 4-6 weeks to get to know a church, and we appreciate your time. We would be delighted to help you discover what that is and show you opportunities to fulfill His purpose for your life.

Believe me, there’s nothing more frustrating than a preacher who never has the opportunity to preach, and there’s nothing more disappointing than a Christian “sitting on” his or her talents.

As you explore our site, you’ll find basic information about our church. As you'll see, we have much to offer for children and teens of all ages. A full-fledged department filled with energetic worship, relevant teaching, and fun volunteers assist you in teaching your children the foundational truths of God’s Word. Check out our character program for children and our mission trips for teens. You’ll get an idea of how active our children and youth departments are at KCC. We also have small group bible studies and plenty of ministries to choose from. You, however, may have more questions...if so, please call us or email us and let us answer them. KCC'S "STARTING POINT" WELCOME CLASS:

If you have been a guest with us or have become a new member, please register for the next two week "Starting Point" Class held on the following two Sundays:

JUNE 3RD AND JUNE 10TH, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. and again at 10:30 a.m.

It is important to attend both weeks to gain an overall understanding of KCC.  You can register by emailing gettingconnected@kccfamily.org or calling the office at 757-490-3925. This two week class is offered on Sundays once a quarter and will answer the following questions:

1. How is KCC governed?
2. How is the money handled at KCC?
3. What is KCC's history and how does KCC's doctrine differ from other religions and faiths?
4. What are the programs and ministries of KCC and how can I get involved?
